Brother John is a multi-instrumentalist/singer/sometimes songwriter whose eclectic style, arranging and voice make for an interesting, captivating and soulful listening experience. He draws long and hard on the roots of modern acoustic music playing songs and styles from old English folk and sea chanties, early 20th century cowboy songs, bluegrass, blues, folk and Americana, old country, Hawaiian slack key and lap steel, and singer/songwriter material from the 60s-90s.
