Formed in 2020, Sweet Sally has been recognized for its accomplished instrumental skills, inventive arrangements, and vocal harmonies. They play distinctive originals and covers from bluegrass, folk, jazz, and other styles. Band members Lucy Khadder and Sophia Sparks, and Clare O’Grady, have been featured on studio albums, radio shows, and at major music festivals. VIDEO: Sweet Sally
Mark and Cindy Lemaire are known for their beautifully blended vocals and Mark’s riveting guitar playing style. They perform nationally from New England to Texas and points between, and all over California from Los Angeles to San Francisco. VIDEO: Mark & Cindy Lemaire
Expect some soulful grooves, humor, and jams from Brian Skinner, a local singer/songwriter, guitarist, and upright bassist, well-known in the Livermore Valley wine scene. Brian has a groove style of acoustic guitar playing, never failing to engage and captivate his audiences.
Jen Courter, vocalist and ukulele player, will be joined on stage by ukulele bassist Ron Geren. Jen is an active member of the ukulele community and leader of the vibrant Lamorinda Ukulele Club. Ron is a ukulele bassist for the club and collaborates with various local groups and musicians. His infectious enthusiasm shines through in his playing. Jen and Ron’s performance will also feature the ukulele and vocal talents of Laura Brandt and David Marton.
Michael Ching will be featured in the lobby prior to the show. He brings depth to the stage from his performances in plays and musicals. He now finds joy in playing music inspired by his parents, former entertainers at the Forbidden City nightclub in San Francisco. VIDEO: Michael Ching at Front Porch Presents.
