I will be performing solo – yes, solo – in the theater lobby at 6:00pm to get everyone warmed up for the evening showing of Steel Magnolias.
🎸 About Mad Dog
My long, careening music career path started at 12 years old playing drums in a neighborhood band in Teaneck, NJ. After playing through high school I abandoned drums for guitar, opened for The James Gang playing solo in front of 1,400 people outdoors in Athens, OH (don't ask), then moving to Richmond, VA, I added dobro and later pedal steel, playing with the Laurel Street String Band, Good Humor Band, and solo. I've done voiceover work, FOH sound on the road, produced bands, started an independent record company (Brat Records), was on the radio (106.5 WVGO), etc etc blah blah.…
