About
Steve started playing guitar when he was eight years old. After a long break to raise two families and build two careers, he picked it up again around 2014. Steve met his wife and music partner in a community music class in 2017. Since then, he and Kathleen have performed as “Redwood Grove” in various configurations, sometimes as a duo, trio, and now a foursome. Steve started playing dobro in 2018 and that is now his primary instrument for their bluegrass and Americana performances.
